Students will learn vocal warmups, singing techniques and the art of storytelling through song as we learn harmonies, movements and motions, solos and even some instruments. With a commitment to self expression and fun, learning will be informal and accessible with plenty of chances to connect with peers along the way.
Singing a cappella or with guitar accompaniment, there will be a focus on songs and arrangements within the folk tradition. Students will be invited to collaborate on song selections, arrangements and movements. No formal singing experience required!

Let's PLAY Ukulele! This is a play-based approach to gaining ukulele skills for kids 4-6. Students with playing experience will be invited to use their skills in collaboration with newer players-- all will come together to create musical stories and adventures. Games and activities will center around foundational skills such as rhythm, pitch, chord shapes- as well as using our imaginations! This class is reccomended for beginners or those with some lessons under their belts as well as students interested in learning guitar down the road!
