Let's PLAY piano! In this group beginning piano class, kids will be introduced to the basics of piano-- notes on the keyboard, rythms, scales, chords all while having a fun-filled 45 minutes of play and imagination. We will use games and play to integrate musical concepts and encourage kids natural musicianship. This class is a great launching point to anywhere your child dreams to go musically as we will introduce the beginnings of music theory, practice ear training and foster fun around music! No prior piano experience or 1 prior Piano Club.

Students will learn vocal warmups, singing techniques and the art of storytelling through song as we learn harmonies, movements and motions, solos and even some instruments. With a commitment to self expression and fun, learning will be informal and accessible with plenty of chances to connect with peers along the way.
Singing a cappella or with guitar accompaniment, there will be a focus on songs and arrangements within the folk tradition. Students will be invited to collaborate on song selections, arrangements and movements. No formal singing experience required!

In this drop off class for ages 4-8 students will have an opportunity to try out various instruments including keyboards, drums, ukulele, guitar, and percussion. There will be chances to sing and dance and explore the expressiveness of music as well as get an intro to music theory through play based activities. We will explore creating our own original music and music performance as well!
